Backup Warehouse Associate, you will be a crucial member of our
team, ensuring efficient office operations and providing support in
the warehouse when needed. Position Overview: We are seeking a
versatile and organized individual to take on the role of Office
Administrator and Backup Warehouse Associate. This position
combines administrative responsibilities with occasional warehouse
tasks, including operating a forklift. The ideal candidate will be
skilled in office management, possess strong communication skills,
and be comfortable performing warehouse duties on an as-needed
basis. Responsibilities: Office Administration: Administrative
Tasks: Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing,
and maintaining office supplies. Assist with creating and
maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and reports. Preparing
installation orders and paperwork for installers. Customer
Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding installation
schedules, inquiries, and concerns in a professional manner.
Collaborate with the customer service team to provide seamless
customer experiences. Scheduling Support: Assist in coordinating
installation dates and ensuring efficient scheduling. Liaise with
customers to confirm product delivery. Backup Warehouse Associate:
Forklift Operation: Occasionally operate a forklift to load and
unload flooring materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Maintain the forklift and perform routine safety checks. Inventory
Management: Assist in managing inventory levels and organization
within the warehouse. Receive and inspect incoming shipments, and
prepare materials for installation teams. Office and Warehouse
Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent
accidents and injuries. Keep the office and warehouse clean,
organized, and hazard-free. Qualifications: High school diploma or
equivalent Previous experience in office administration, customer
service, or related roles. Familiarity with basic office software
(e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written
and verbal. Ability to occasionally operate a forklift; forklift
certification preferred. Comfortable with occasional physical tasks
in the warehouse environment. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and
