apply.Stevenson School is seeking an Elementary Classroom Teacher,
Grades K-3, to start August 2023. The successful candidate will
have prior experience in the development and delivery of
well-rounded and comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans in
subjects including science, literature, social studies, and math.
Although assigned to a specific grade level each year, lower
division teachers are expected to have the capacity and willingness
to teach other elementary grade levels in alternate years, if the
need arises. The teacher will be a member of our Carmel campus

Classroom teaching of one grade level
in grades K-3 to be determined based on related experience and
informed by the needs of the divisionDevelop and deliver
comprehensive, student-centered curriculum across disciplines;
science, math, social studies, and reading/literacySupport student
learning through use of a variety of pedagogical approaches to
facilitate understanding across a variety of learning
stylesEffectively collaborate with colleagues to develop students'
critical thinking, intellectual, and social and emotional
skillsCollaborate with learning specialists to identify and support
those students requiring additional resources or enrichment
activities to promote optimal engagement with their
learningCommunicate with students, parents, and colleagues in a
timely and professional mannerContribute talents and skills to the
school community in additional capacities, such as coaching
interscholastic sports teams or leading an afterschool program

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in elementary
education, or related; master's preferredA minimum of 3-years of
previous teaching experience at the elementary level -Excellent
classroom management skillsDemonstrated confidence and aptitude
with the use of instructional technology, such as Google Tools and
related resourcesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and
ability to connect with all members of the community -Demonstrated
interest in being part of a collaborative teamExcellent
organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to
accuracy in all aspects of workAbility to maintain absolute
confidentiality and the integrity of all aspects of information
disseminated within or external to the school communityCommitment
