SUMMARYWe are looking for a fun, energetic, and flexible leader to manage a team of passionate and joyful employees who create unique dining experiences for our guests. You will lead the effort to deliver superb guest experiences while ensuring profitability objectives are achieved. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Hours will be 3pm-11pm Thursday through Monday. Occasionally Tuesdays and Wednesdays when group events demand. - Lead staff in a professional manner and instill a sense of urgency, fine dining comportment and open hospitality. - Determine training needs along with GM and schedule group trainings with each area as needed. - Ensure staffing for shift, seating assignments, Tock reservations, table set ups, anniversary, birthday, allergy etc and VIP notes. - Check and maintain wine pars and note any discrepancies on list and maintain proper counts and pricing in Toast. - Lead pre-shift with GM or in GM absence, obtain specials notes from Chef and bar, address training issues and determine wine training where needed. Maintain wine notes, ensure wine list and dinner menu accuracy. Note positive comment cards with staff and give recognition. - Instill sense of urgency with staff for initial set-up, ensure that breaks are being taken and they are clocking properly. - During service active on floor at all times, directing, expo, running, opening wine, proper seating and flow of room. Attending to guest issues along with GM. - Run discounts, Tock-Toast deposit issues and proper billing in Toast (including bqts.) - Closing- ensure side-work is complete, and clock outs are adjusted. - Complete EOD reports in Paylocity. - Cash drop to be deposited at bank or left in safe for next day drop. - Assist with group events coordination as needed, assigning staff, seating time against dining room, needed rentals have been ordered, ensuring wines are stocked or ordered for upcoming BEO's, deposit is in Tock, working with Chef along with GM on firing process/timing & delivery (day of), room set up & breakdown etc.This position is a salary position with potential to earn $90,000.00 + per year.The Folktale Group LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture. Requirements:
Fine dining experience required.Substantial wine knowledge preferred.Knowledge of inventory, Toast POS, Tock seating systems helpful.
