And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our -.Job Description - Field based in the Salinas Valley, CA area -The Strategic Account Manager, Produce Sector - Responsible for directing and managing the development of strategic relationships with customers from the fresh Produce Sector and produce packaging suppliers. They will work closely with the Extended Services Manager(s) and Strategic Customer Service Representatives to maximize account health, growth, and supply chain solution implementation while ensuring C-level engagement with all assigned accounts.
Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Drive budgeted growth objectives
  • Establish sustainable long term customer relationships
  • Create and exploit collaborative relationships utilizing CHEP Joint Value Creation and Extended Services Teams
  • Collaborate with Latin America counterparts to maximize intercompany transfers and revenue
  • Complete and reinforce all Zero Harm policies
  • Lead in a matrixed environment
  • Meet or exceed all A/R and Pricing targets while enforcing all contract contingencies
    QualificationsEssential Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree minimum
    • 5-7 Years Sales and Account Management Experience
      Desirable Qualifications
      • Bilingual, English/Spanish
      • Produce Industry Experience
        Experience
        • 5+ years of sales/service experience, preferably in the HBA, Durable Goods or related industries
        • Proven record of selling in highly complex strategic environments
        • Extended work in cross functional matrix oriented internal structures
          Skills and Knowledge
          • Understanding of CHEP's business model, systems and procedures
          • Expert knowledge of supply chain
          • Miller Heiman Strategic Selling in complex environments
          • Spin Selling
          • Leading in a matrix organization
          • Personal relationship building capability
          • Negotiating large complex agreements (GAP training or comparable)
          • Innovative value proposition development
          • Excellence in team building and personal developmentPreferred EducationBachelorsPreferred Level of Work Experience5 - 7 years
