are seeking to add an individual to oversee our Maintenance Team. -
The Maintenance Manager will direct, plan, control, and monitor the
overall operation of the maintenance department. . This is an

hands-on position will be based out of our beautiful Aromas, CA
location, and you will report directly to the Plant Manager.We

- Gain knowledge of production manager's requirements and
translate the needs as a design for the team
- Communicate the design for fabrication, supervise parts
procurement, fabrication, testing, and installation
- Recognize production requirements, analyze the application, and
suggest better alternatives in applicable situations to improve
productivity and safety
- Supervise the team, currently at 6, on weekends as needed,
(critical activities are usually performed on weekends)
- Work with vendors closely to communicate machine statuses,
parts inventory & replenishment and to adapt Preventative
Maintenance based on machine performance, life, and production
requirements
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance activities are executed in
proper and planned intervals and parts are available to be replaced
if necessary
- Perform daily walkthroughs on the production floor to monitor
machine conditions and perform visual inspections on key areas
- Partner with product managers and create a healthy environment
to encourage and establish creative ideas for productivity
improvement
- Promote safety within the team and rank safety-related projects
with topmost priority
- Receive ideas and plans from production teams and determine and
specify the appropriate mechanism, tools, machines, or system
suitable for the application
- Maintain CMMS system, parts inventory and create preventive
maintenance programs for new machines as needed
- Adhere to company operating procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment -

- Knowledge of Maintenance methods, processes, and metrics;
demonstrated experience with Preventive Maintenance, Predictive
Maintenance, Spare Part Management, and Maintenance Planning and
Scheduling
- Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes to
meet organization goals
- Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement
efforts
- Proven track record of driving cultural change from a
"reactive" maintenance function to "proactive"
- Proven track record of working with floor-level operators to
become more involved with "ownership" of machinery
- Are able to design and fabricate temporary awnings, covered
spaces, and shelters for machines and materials
- Familiar with HVAC, dust collection systems, vacuum pumps,
water pumps, various types of conveyor systems, vortex dissolvers,
Sievers, and air operated spray equipment
- Any exposure or experience with a natural gas-operated tunnel
kilns, periodic kilns, dryers, tile glazing equipment, electrical
ranging from 120V to 480V, inverters, electrical starters, PLC's,
VFD's and extruders is an added advantageWhat We're Looking For ...

- Ability to support a 24/7 Operation
- Ability to think and come up with creative ideas and plans to
fix machines and systems to reduce downtime
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and
managing a team with constant schedule changes based on the
business requirement
- Must be experienced with OSHA standards for safe operating
procedures, and workplace safety
- Must be experienced in hazardous material and waste management
and disposal
- Ability to maintain a strong working relationship with internal
customers, and contract vendors
- Familiar with forklift operation and troubleshooting is a
plus
- Proficient with computer applications
- Team player able to interact effectively at all levels with
sensitivity to cultural diversityExperience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (manufacturing, mechanical,
electrical, industrial, or equivalent work experience.
- Two+ years of experience in a maintenance environment of a
manufacturing company (or) with at least 8-10 years of experience
in maintenance management of a manufacturing company.
- 5+ years of previous supervisory experience in a maintenance or
manufacturing environment required.
- 3+ years experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
with full responsibility for all aspects of technology, including
electrical maintenance, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics,
PLC automation, and data collection. -We offer full benefits
