Salinas, CA: We have an excellent new position for an experienced Family Medicine Physician with a strong interest in Womens Health to join a brand new Womens Health clinic just 20 miles from this desirable northern CA community. This is a full time permanent position. This practice also needs a Women's Health NP/PA, so you can invite your favorite APP to join you!Due to the immediacy of this need, you must have an active CA license and a current, unrestricted DEA certificate to be considered.We need a doctor who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. This OUTPATIENT ONLY role is centered around womens health and primary care. Since there is no obstetrics or gyn surgeries requiring anesthesia, we can hire an FP instead of an OB/GYN. You will be the first doctor in the office there are plans to add more physicians as the practice grows. This new service is housed in an attractive modern facility and managed by a nonprofit along with their adjacent primary care practice with onsite digital X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory services.Quality patient care is your mission! You will diagnose, treat and prevent diseases, disorders and issues that affect women such as breast cancer, cervical cancer and menopause. You will provide prenatal care and postpartum care, prescribe medications and therapies, order lab and imaging tests, etc. and you can perform some in-office procedures too if desired. You will coordinate patient care with appropriate specialists and ancillary services. You will supervise NPs/PAs and others in the Womens Health group.
