This non-profit Medical Center unites the best elements of private practice and an academic hospital with diverse specialty services and patient base.The Meditech Clinical Informatics Nurse RN -will be responsible for coordinating between Nursing and Information Services all aspects of clinical information systems to assure that existing and future systems facilitate and enhance clinical practice and delivery of patient care and meet quality and regulatory requirements. - The Meditech Clinical Informatics Nurse RN -will coordinate and facilitate on-going clinical information system evaluation including: user accuracy, data integrity, and system reliability. - The Meditech Clinical Informatics Nurse RN -will be responsible for ongoing system activities include auditing, system and workflow improvements, change communication, end user education, competency validation, coaching and re-training. - The Meditech Clinical Informatics Nurse RN -will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of clinical systems educational programs and services to nursing and related patient care staff; serve as the chair of the Nursing Informatics Oversight Committee, and act as resource to Quality and Regulatory staff regarding documentation processes and compliance.The ideal -Meditech -Clinical Informatics Nurse RN will have BSN -or MS in Nursing/Nursing Informatics degree with experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, patient care informatics systems, and multiple vendor experience preferred. - The Meditech -Clinical Informatics Nurse RN should have 2+ years' experience as a Meditech Informaticist (Meditech build experience required) -working with an inpatient team of Nurses.
