The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Clinical Educator -will have specialized knowledge and skills that will be used within three major areas of focus: patient direct care, nurses and nursing practice, and the organization and systems. The -Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Clinical Educator -and nursing administration are partners in leading the nursing clinical practice area, specialty or program. The -Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Clinical Educator -will coordinate and guide clinical activities/projects of nurses for 22 bed Level III -NICU -with 13 daily census. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Clinical Educator will be accountable for collaborating with members of the health care team to design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU Clinical Educator -will be responsible for maintaining current professional knowledge and competencies and contributing to the advancement of the practice of nursing at the unit/system, local, state and/or national level.The -Neonatal Intensive Care UnitNICU Clinical Educator will work closely with the -NICU -Nurse Manager and a -skillful -all RN staff. The -NICU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Clinical Educator -will also have the privilege of working alongside very reputable and well-respected physicians in the department. The -NICU -Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Clinical Educator will report to the VP of Patient Services and Director of -Perinatal -Services.
