B2B Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Salinas, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Must Have PEDS experience Job Notes Day Shift 8-hours with rotating weekend coverage required. MUST have pediatrics experience. Client Notes 172 bed, Level II Trauma, Teaching Hospital. The only Trauma Center in Monterey County, as well as many other surrounding communities. Voted “Best Hospital in Salinas Valley” (out of 3 hospitals) by Salinas Valley Reader’s Choice - 2022 Specialty Profile Notes Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with a minimum of 6 months experience with Pediatric studies. Will be conducting adult and pediatric cardiac studies in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Pediatrics will be 25% of the volume of studies; Sonographer will be scheduled for 7 studies in an 8 hour shift. There will not be any fetal heart monitoring. Requirements : RDCS issued by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, RCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or RCCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) are required and BLS issued through American Heart Association Scrubs : Any color of professional scrubs. No other facility logos are permitted. Charting : MediTech EMR Equipment : Philips Epiq 7 Will be required to take call, which is typically every other weekend. Call may vary depending on the needs of the department. Orientation offered Monday’s only. Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then to department to complete department specific orientation to equipment and processes prior to being scheduled with their own patients.
