Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Float for a travel nursing job in King City, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Float - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/16/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Float Pool Facility: Mee Memorial Hospital Location: King City, California Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days) Shift: 3x12-hour Day Shifts (07:00 – 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Position Overview The Float Pool RN provides safe, effective nursing care throughout multiple hospital departments under the direction of the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) and Nurse House Supervisor. The RN supports staffing needs across Emergency, Med-Surg/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing units, providing break relief and supplemental coverage as needed. Must maintain proof of competency for all assigned areas. Patient Population - All age groups (neonate through geriatric; 0–120 years old) Requirements - Experience: - Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years - Minimum 6 months of recent Emergency or Critical Care experience - Licensure: - Active, unencumbered California RN license - Certifications (AHA required): - BLS (American Heart Association only) - ACLS - PALS - Preferred: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Key Responsibilities - Float to departments based on staffing needs (ED, Med-Surg, Swing Bed, SNF) - Deliver patient-centered, age-appropriate care - Ensure safe and effective nursing practice in alignment with hospital policies - Provide break and shift coverage for staff nurses as directed - Maintain competency documentation for all assigned areas Additional Facility Details - Shift Policy: No elevated rate for hours 9–12 on 10- or 12-hour shifts - Workweek: Monday 12:01 a.m. – Sunday 11:59 p.m. - Housing: - Keefer’s Inn – 615 Canal St., King City () - Greenfield Village Apartments – 104 S.
