Job Description:
Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife
(CNM) specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology to join our dedicated
team in providing holistic and evidence-based care tailored to the
needs of our patients. The CNM will collaborate with Obstetricians,
Gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals in a
multidisciplinary team to deliver prenatal, intrapartum, postnatal,
and gynecological care. This role demands a high level of expertise
in women's reproductive health and childbirth, working within an
integrated system that promotes seamless patient-centered care and
positive health outcomes. Provide comprehensive care and counseling
during pre-conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods.
Perform routine prenatal exams and screen tests. Manage obstetric
emergencies like preterm labor, preeclampsia, and eclampsia. Assist
in surgical procedures and administer gynecological exams. Educate
patients on reproductive health, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Collaborate with health team to plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans. Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring
Strong skills in patient/family education and communication Ability
to handle obstetric emergencies Competency in performing
gynecological exams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Certification by the American Midwifery
Certification Board (AMCB) Valid State RN and APRN license
