Registered Nurse (RN) | Transplant Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,753 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Transplant Coordinator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Living Donor Transplant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: CA License required Certifications: BLS, CCTC preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratio - Charting system experience required (Epic preferred) - Community hospital experience preferred - Trauma Level I or II experience preferred - Knowledge of organ-specific diseases Description: The primary responsibility will be within kidney, pancreas, and living donor transplant. The coordinator will adhere to regulatory standards and institutional policies. The position requires coordination of patient care needs before, during, and after transplantation. It involves monitoring patient progress and recognizing signs of transplant complications. The role includes providing psychosocial support and education to patients and families. Patients will receive guidance on medication adherence and post-operative care plans. The coordinator will interpret lab results and diagnostic tests related to transplant. They will assist with scheduling and facilitate organ offers and acceptance. Knowledge of immunosuppressive agents and their interactions is essential. The position requires comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments. Collaboration with the transplant team to enhance patient outcomes is required. Attention to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations is critical. Tracking patient outcomes and reporting according to standards is expected.
