courteous Banquet Manager who is passionate about creating
incredible experiences for our clients. This position's main duties
are to directly supervise and work with the Event Operations team,
the Banquet Servers, and Banquet Bartenders to ensure the proper
set-up, tear-down and completion of the event as specified in the
BEO. Banquet Manager position starts at $65,000.00 plus bonus
potential!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the success
of each event by overseeing room arrangements, staffing and
logistics prior to the event. This includes staff scheduling,
setup, execution, and teardown of all events.Ensure that
communication of all details of the event are communicated prior to
event day between the Culinary Team & the Banquet
Captain.Understanding how to expedite food from the kitchen while
communicating with the Expo Captain, Events Chef and directing all
event staff.Work under variable temperatures, conditions and noise
levels Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or
leaningBasic math and language skills, including the ability to
follow instructions and communicate effectively (both verbally and
in writing)Multitasking, logical thinking, problem-solving, and
paying attention to detailsMaintain poise in fast-paced,
high-stress, often evolving situationsResponsible for new hire
training, staff development & procedures to keep customer service
at its highest level.Assists in maintaining standards of health,
safety, and sanitation at all times. attend and assist in all
designated pre-meal & BEO meetings.Engage on Paylocity, the
company's HR platform.And much, much more.
Requirements:
Maintain friendly and professional demeanor in a fast paced
environment.Position will be required to work a varied schedule
that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.Support
other team members to maximize service when needed.Support safe
work habits and a safe working environment at all times.Excellent
customer service. Physical RequirementsThe ability to work in a
standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), walk,
sit, reach, bend, stoop, climb, frequently lift up to 25 pounds,
and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds is required. This position
also requires continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor
skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor
skills, and the ability to clearly speak, hear, see, and adjust
