markets while integrating cutting-edge technologies like AI. As an
Engineering Manager, you’ll drive the design and development of
modular, scalable web-based trading application. You’ll collaborate
cross-functionally with product, design, and data science, mentor
engineers, and build a high-performing team. This hands-on role
requires strong technical leadership, a passion for developing
people, and sharp product judgment. This role is based in our Menlo
Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days

fully support high-performing teams. What you’ll do Lead a team
focused on building Legend’s next-generation trading experiences
for web and desktop Set and communicate a clear technical direction
aligned with product strategy, holding a high bar for quality,
performance, and maintainability as the product scales. Partner
cross-functionally with design, product, AI, and infrastructure
teams to enhance the core product experience and enable expansion
across new asset types, account structures, and geographies. Foster
a collaborative, inclusive team environment where engineers across
experience levels can do their best work, grow in their careers,
and feel ownership over both technical outcomes and product impact.
Be a thoughtful technical leader within the team, aiding in
diligent architectural decisions and fostering a culture of
high-quality code and engineering processes. What you bring At
least 7 years of professional software engineering experience. At
least 2 years of engineering management experience leading
product-focused engineering teams. Strong foundation in modern web
engineering, with deep experience in technologies such as React,
TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js. Deep understanding of web
architecture and best practices for building modular, scalable
systems within large, evolving codebases. Proven ability to grow
engineers across levels, through mentorship, feedback, and clear
expectations that raise technical rigor and ownership. An
execution-focused mindset with a strong passion for building and
leading product-focused teams, capable of navigating ambiguity and

range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus
opportunities equity benefits. Base pay for the successful
applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which
may include education, training, experience, location, business
needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role
is based on the location where the work will be performed and is
aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not
listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during
the interview process. Base Pay Range: Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New
York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $230,000 - $270,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $203,000 - $238,000
USD Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
