Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design. Experience with visual design principles. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. Experience with systems thinking and design systems. Experience in designing and launching for multiple platforms (e.g., iOS, Android, Web, etc.). As a UX Designer on YouTube’s Main App team, you’ll focus on simplicity, beauty, and AI innovation across all devices. You will also design standards for every format, ensuring content shines and users can learn and connect. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
