Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental, energy,
and industrial services, is seeking an experienced Class A/B Driver
with expertise in operating equipment with manual transmission. In
this role, you will help us continue our mission in safeguarding
the environment by efficiently transporting hazardous materials and
operating related equipment. Your contribution will ensure the safe
and compliant handling of substances crucial to our emergency
response and industrial cleaning operations. This position requires
a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Operate Class A/B vehicles with manual transmission safely and
efficiently. Load, transport, and unload hazardous waste and other
materials in compliance with company and regulatory rules. Maintain
logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance with DOT regulations.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned
equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean
equipment. Assist in the response to emergency spills as per
company guidelines and safety protocols. Adhere to company policies
and procedures to ensure environmental safety. Proficient in
operating Class A/B vehicles with manual transmission. Strong
knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Capable of
handling hazardous materials with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent navigation and driving skills. Effective communication
and documentation skills. Medical Insurance Valid Class A or Class
B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement. Clean
driving record. DOT Medical Card.
