The CCC oversees and maintains the University Clinical Supervisors and their assignments. The CCC will be the leader in arranging and developing fieldwork seminars for education credential candidates. The CCC will serve as an integral member of the campus education team, working closely with education programs faculty and staff to assure maximum service to credential and internship candidates. The CCC maintains a close working relationship with the Central Office, providing documents and other information.TYPEOF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Limited supervision; the Campus Director provides or shares supervisionof employees at the campus, assuring theorderly and efficient management of the campus, programmatic supervision is provided by the BrandmanState Chair for Education Clinical ServicesPOSITIONDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential functions: 100% of timeLiaison with local school districts.Identify and contact schools/districts to place student teachers and other education credential candidates, in accordance with CTC requirements and placement of candidatesCollaborate with OneStop staff and Faculty Services staff in processing student teacher/internship/fieldworkapplication and registration Identify, recruit, recommend for hiring and termination of University Clinical SupervisorsAssign University Clinical Supervisors to fieldwork studentsParticipate in training of University Clinical SupervisorsFollow up on University Clinical Supervisors and their evaluations of candidates, candidates and their evaluations of University Clinical Supervisors and district supervisors, district supervisors and their evaluations of candidates and University Clinical Supervisors Provide pay requests for University Clinical Supervisors, District supervisors and Master Teachers to Central OfficeMaintain spreadsheets for education candidates to assure all are placed in clinical settings upon completion of course work, CTC requirements, and university requirementsConduct orientation with University Clinical Supervisors and candidates prior to commencing fieldwork so that all are aware of expectations as described in the Clinical Experience Handbook for Student TeachersResponsible for coordinating and facilitating Student Teacher Seminars and Supervisor Meetings throughout the yearIn coordination with the University ClinicalSupervisor, the district supervisor/master teacher, counsel and develop action plans for candidates who are experiencing difficulty in fieldworkNotify the Brandman State Chair for Education Clinical Services as to the additional support being providedResponsible for generating and reviewing of internship and fieldwork agreements to ensure they are currentCollaborating with Brandman Irvine campus to get agreements signed in a timely mannerIdentify school districts needing agreements and notify the Central Office of any changes or issuesAssist and participate in annual Credential CelebrationParticipate in monthly Education Team meetingsand bi-annual Education Advisory Board meetingsPOSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Special Conditions of Employment: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Need to be able to work flexible hours particularly given campuses' extended hours of operation.
