Eden Rift Vineyards is a young brand that was established in 2016 and resides on an estate property that has been under vine since 1849. The vineyards total 118, planted predominantly to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and a wee bit of GSM, Pinot Gris, and old-vine Zinfandel. From vine to bottle everything is done on site by our crew. Pay Range: DOE Anticipated Start Date: June-August Anticipated End Date: November - December Job Description: We are looking for a few experienced interns who will get hands-on experience in every facet of winemaking. Candidates will have an eye for detail, an inclination for making quality Pinot and Chardonnay, not afraid to get wet or dirty, and have a good team ethic. Job duties include, but not limited: - Processing and sorting fruit - Fermentation management - Lab analysis - Additions - Barrel Work - Vineyard sampling and analysis - Sensory analysis - Bottling - Working closely with winemaking team and vineyard manager (i.e. sharing time in winery and vineyard) Hours vary depending on harvest, but we do occasionally have long days. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, have a valid driver's license, and maintain a good attitude in a positive and fun atmosphere. Forklift experience is preferred, but either way we will get you certified. We also welcome anyone in the restaurant industry that has an interest in winemaking.
