Job DescriptionSenior Loan Officer - AgricultureNonprofit Lending InstitutionSalary Commensurate with ExperienceTerrific opportunity for a lending professional to join a nonprofit institution focused on supporting underserved communities by providing access to capital and technical assistance. With a focus on small business, including farmers and agriculture, the Senior Loan Officer will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of existing clients and developing new business opportunities. The position will collaborate with the Underwriting team to perform high-level financial analysis on new and existing loans. The Senior Loan Officer will manage, mentor and train a team of two. Qualified candidates will have approximately 5+ years of related experience. Bachelor's required. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Responsibilities:

• Business development, including the identification and cultivation of prospective clients
• Providing a high level of customer service to an existing portfolio of clients
• Perform high level financial analysis to determine client loan eligibility
• Collaborate with Underwriting to analyze financial information and make loan recommendations
• Represent the organization at events to build relationships and expand its impact in the communities it servesQualifications:
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant lending experience with a financial institution or similar
  • Bachelor's required
  • Ability to interface with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Prior experience interfacing with small businesses, farmers or and/or other agricultural related organizations preferred
