The Team You'll Work With ...
Our Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Learning and Development Manager with planning, and delivery of various forms of learning and development programs including onboarding, skills training, and compliance training. As a learning coordinator, you will take ownership of key people's activities that positively impact the employee culture. The ideal candidate will get excited about delivering an exceptional teammate experience at every interval, elevating data integrity, being a big player in helping Fireclay grow our own talent. This role reports to the Learning and Development Manager and is located on-site in Aromas, CA.
The Opportunities You'll Have ---

  • The administrative pieces in partnership the People Department, including but not limited to:
  • Scheduling training programs
  • Sourcing, booking, and setting up training venues
  • Ordering and picking up meals and refreshments
  • Creating and sending out learning and development-related communications
  • Maintaining stock of training materials
  • Pulling and completing reports on learning and development activity
  • Maintaining learning and development records including attendance, test results, and retraining requirements
  • Managing users in Fireclay's learning management system Lessonly, including adding teammates, removing teammates, and updating teammate information
  • Notifying support functions of incoming new hires
  • Support with needs assessments to determine learning and development needs within the organization
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of learning and development programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback
  • Maintain and continuously improve learning content to ensure it is current and effective
  • Apply professional experience and learning theory in practical field applications
    • Serving as a Fireclay Tile Brand Ambassador, representing our core values including:

        About You ...
        • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education or related field
        • 3+ years of professional work experience in a fast-paced, people-facing environment of which:
          • 1+ year of success as a learning coordinator including instructional design, developing training and delivery
          • 1+ year of demonstrated excellence in needs assessment techniques, development of innovative learning and development solutions, learning effectiveness measurement, and administration
          • Fluent in Spanish
          • Charismatic style of facilitating learning
          • Adept at analyzing data, telling a meaningful story around your findings, and identifying actions to respond to the data
          • Proficient with the Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite of products
