WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE----
This position is responsible for transporting Farming and Harvest
product. Company fleet consists of well-maintained 3-axle tractors
pulling flatbeds, lowboys and vans. The driving is primarily local,
short haul work with minimal over-night trips. This individual must
be able to perform independently. Safety productivity and quality
of work performed are very important.
--- --Supervise and assist in the loading of vehicle following safe
and environmentally sound practices.--
--- --Will transport Harvest product and Equipment to various
locations in the Imperial Valley including Salinas Valley--
--- --Maintain accurate driver log per D.O.T. rules and
regulations.--
--- --Maintain company TPR log--
--- --Report and record any unsafe conditions.
--- --Report and record any equipment malfunctions.
--- --Monitor equipment and assist in minor routine
maintenance.
--- --Report and record any vehicular defects found during pre/post
trip inspections.--
--- --Other duties as assigned both in field and plant.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR----
Minimum Qualifications:----
--- --High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one
to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
--- --2 years minimum of Class "A" truck and trailer experience
--- --4-7 years previous truck driving experience
--
Additional Required Qualifications:----
--- --Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
--- --Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
--- --Must have a valid California Class A license.
--- --Must be able to apply common sense, understand and carry out
instructions furnished in written or --oral form.
--- --Must be safety and environmentally conscious.
--- --Must have a minimum 2 year--verifiable--hauling
experience
--- --Must possess a valid Class "A" driver's license and safely
operate various truck and trailer combination.
--- --Must have knowledge of D.O.T. rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:----
--- --1 year minimum driving experience and planter equipment
Physical Demands:----
--- --Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, gases, inclement weather
temperatures.
--- --Able to lift 50 pounds
--- --Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
--- --Able to work on ladders, stairs and boom lifts
--- --During the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that

locations, such as at associates' homes or in vehicles. --All such
